Fronius: restart the system
A restart clears most communication faults. Do the steps in order, and pick the video that matches your battery.

GEN24, with or without a Reserva battery
- Turn off the AC switch. It is next to the inverter, or in the switchboard labelled solar supply main switch or main switch inverter supply.
- Turn the DC switch on the front of the inverter left, to 0.
- Wait 1 to 2 minutes until the lights go off.
- With a Reserva: flick down the DC switch on the left of the battery, on every tower. Check all lights are off.
- Back on, in reverse. Reserva first: switch up, then press the start button once. Then the inverter DC switch to 1, then the AC switch on.
With a BYD battery
- Follow the Fronius BYD video from 1:33. Fronius says this order is for BYD HVM and HVS. It does not apply to HVS+, HVM+ or HVB.
