Get off gas
Hot water that runs on your roof, not your gas bill.
We design and install efficient heat-pump hot water systems, properly sized for your home and our colder climate. Reliable, quiet and affordable to run, with rebates available and smart integration so they work seamlessly with your solar.
Why it stacks up
The single biggest win in most houses.
Hot water is usually the largest energy load in a home after heating. Swapping gas or electric-element storage for a heat pump typically cuts that load by around two thirds — and if you already have solar, most of what is left can come off your own roof for nothing.
It is also the upgrade with the most rebate support behind it right now, which changes the payback considerably.
- Roughly a third of the running energy of a conventional electric cylinder
- Programmed to heat in the middle of the day, on your own generation
- Removes a gas appliance, and with it a share of the supply charge
- Federal STCs plus Victorian incentives, claimed by us

Cold climate
Sized for Trentham in July, not Brisbane in January.
Heat pumps are rated in conditions that look nothing like a Central Victorian winter. A unit that performs beautifully on paper can struggle at three degrees with a full house wanting showers.
We size for the climate we actually work in, and we specify units with the compressor capacity to recover quickly on a cold morning. We would rather fit a slightly larger unit than have you run out of hot water in August.
- Specified against cold-climate performance, not headline efficiency figures
- Recovery rate matched to the number of people in the house
- Located and mounted so noise isn't a problem for you or the neighbours
- Timer and solar-diversion set up at commissioning, not left on defaults

The detail
Done properly, it should be the appliance you never think about.
Quiet placement
Positioned with a thought for bedroom windows and boundaries, on proper mounts, not just wherever the old cylinder was.
Solar-timed
Programmed to heat when the sun's up so it runs on surplus generation instead of peak-rate grid power.
Rebates claimed for you
STCs and the Victorian hot water incentives handled as part of the job.
Plumbing and electrical together
The hot water and the electrical are specified and scheduled as one job, so there's no gap between trades and nobody blaming the other.
Warranty backing
Brands with real local support and parts availability behind the warranty period.
Old unit removed
We take the old cylinder and any decommissioned gas appliance away and leave the site clean.
