FranklinWH: reconnect to WiFi
Your system keeps running and still backs up the house while it is offline, you just lose the app. If you changed your WiFi password, it needs the new one.
If the app can still see your system
- Stand next to the aGate and check your WiFi is strong there. It needs two or three bars.
- In the FranklinWH app, on the home screen, tap Settings, then Network, then Configure Wifi.
- Tap Next and pick your home WiFi. If it isn't listed, tap Add network.
- Type your WiFi password and tap Complete.
If the app says aGate Offline
- Tap the aGate Offline message on the home screen, then Network Setting.
- Scan the QR code on the aGate. Or tap Manually Connect and join the network named AP_ and the last 9 digits of the serial number. Its password is the twelve digits after the aGate serial number.
- Pick your home WiFi and type the password.
- If it won't connect, restart the system, wait about five minutes and try again.
