OneTeam Energy of Tullamarine has stopped trading and its ABN has been cancelled. What that means for solar owners, warranties and service.
OneTeam Energy, the solar installer at Tullamarine, has stopped trading, and the ABN of OneTeam Energy Pty Ltd was cancelled in January 2025. If you own a OneTeam Energy system, it does not stop working because the business has gone, and the warranties from the makers of your panels, inverter and battery are separate from the installer. What has gone is the company you would have rung, so a few steps now will save you trouble later.
What happened to OneTeam Energy
This comes from public records, as they stood on 4 November 2026:
- SolarQuotes notes that OneTeam Energy Pty Ltd has been reported as out of business
- Google lists its Tullamarine premises as permanently closed
- ABN Lookup shows the OneTeam Energy Pty Ltd ABN cancelled on 7 January 2025
- the company's website did not answer when we checked
We found no notice of a liquidator or administrator on ASIC's published notices, and we have not seen anything on why it stopped. SolarQuotes describes OneTeam Energy as the renewable energy division of One Team Group, a Melbourne electrical contractor. This article is only about OneTeam Energy Pty Ltd. We have found nothing that says any other One Team business has closed.
Your OneTeam Energy system keeps running
A solar system does not need its installer to make power. If your inverter shows a fault, a breaker keeps tripping, or you notice scorching or a burning smell, ring a licensed electrician. Do not open the inverter or the isolators yourself.
OneTeam Energy warranties: what still stands
The makers' product warranties. Consumer Affairs Victoria says that if a product has a written warranty and is still inside the warranty period, you should contact the manufacturer directly when the business that sold it is insolvent. Ask who pays the labour to swap a faulty part, because that varies.
The installer's own warranty. Under Solar Victoria's rules, retailers in its program must give a minimum five year whole of system warranty that includes quality of work. That promise came from OneTeam Energy, so do not count on it now. Consumer Affairs Victoria on 1300 558 181 can tell you what options remain for a workmanship problem.
Find the brands on your OneTeam Energy system
SolarQuotes lists these brands against OneTeam Energy: Sungrow, Fronius, SolarEdge and SolaX inverters, LG Chem, Sungrow and Tesla batteries, and JA Solar, LG, LONGi, Qcells, Canadian Solar, Seraphim, SunPower and Trina panels. Check your own gear rather than relying on that list.
Photograph the label on your inverter and any battery, close enough to read the brand, the model and the serial number. Do not remove any covers. Keep those photos with your invoice, your Certificate of Electrical Safety, the install date and any monitoring login details.
Get your monitoring in your own name
Check you can still log in to your inverter or battery app. If the account was set up under a OneTeam Energy email address, contact the maker and ask how to move it to your own. Monitoring is how a fault gets spotted early.
Who can service a OneTeam Energy system
Any licensed electrician who works on solar can look at a OneTeam Energy system and tell you what it is doing. When you ring around, give them the brands and models, the age of the system and what you are seeing, and send your photos.
Trentham Energy is an electrical and solar business that works across Melbourne's north west as well as central Victoria. We cannot take over the old OneTeam Energy workmanship warranty, as that promise belonged to the business. What we can do is check the system, tell you what is wrong and help you take a product fault to the maker. Send us your photos and tell us what it is doing, and we will tell you plainly what we can do: get in touch.

Questions
Is OneTeam Energy still trading?
The public records say OneTeam Energy Pty Ltd is not. Its ABN was cancelled on 7 January 2025 and Google lists its premises as permanently closed. If you know different, you can ask us to correct the record on our OneTeam Energy page.
Can I still claim a warranty on a OneTeam Energy system?
On the products, usually yes, by going to the manufacturer directly while the warranty runs. The installer's own workmanship warranty came from a business that has closed, so do not count on that part.
Who do I call about a fault on my OneTeam Energy system?
A licensed electrician who works on solar. Have your photos of the labels ready, along with your invoice and the install date.
