Pastoria
What Pastoria needs from a system.
Pastoria lies in the Cobaw Ranges roughly ten kilometres north of Kyneton, and is a small rural district with a handful of farms and a very small population. Its neighbours are Pastoria East and Pipers Creek.
Hilly farm country gives a house views and exposure in equal measure. Roofs facing the right way catch good winter sun, but wind loads are real on the ridges, and the way a system is mounted and fixed down matters as much as the number of panels.

Questions
Asked about solar in Pastoria.
- What difference does the roof pitch make?
- A steeper roof catches the low winter sun better, while a flatter one favours summer. For cold country we often favour a steeper pitch, and where a roof is flat we can angle the panels on frames to suit.
- What size solar system suits a home around Pastoria?
- The systems we have finished nearest to Pastoria run from about 4 kW to 21 kW, and the middle of that is about 10 kW. Your bill and your roof set the real number.
- What battery sizes have you installed near Pastoria?
- Anything from 16 kWh to 48 kWh on recent jobs nearby, with about 24.5 kWh most typical. Your evening and overnight use sets the size.
- Do you work with single phase and three phase supply near Pastoria?
- Yes. Our recent jobs nearby include both, and the inverter is chosen to match the supply at your place.
- Who handles the connection to the power network?
- We do. The connection application is part of the job.
What we do here
Everything, in Pastoria.
We design the whole system rather than just the panels: solar, storage, hot water, climate and the electrical behind it. One design, one point of contact, and one company carrying the warranty afterwards.
