About us

Trentham Energy installs solar, batteries, EV charging and air conditioning across the Macedon Ranges and Hepburn Shire. Spa Refrigeration is our commercial refrigeration and HVAC arm, looking after coolrooms, cafes, pubs and farms right across the region. Between the two brands we run a small, tight crew of electricians and refrigeration mechanics who are out on the tools every day.

The work is coming in faster than we can schedule it. We need someone in the office who keeps the crews moving, keeps customers in the loop, and keeps the parts turning up where they are meant to.

The role

You are the person who knows where everyone is, what they are doing, and what they need next. Most of your day is spent coordinating the crews: planning the week's jobs, lining up labour for each site, chasing ETAs from the guys and making sure nothing stalls because a part or a person is in the wrong place.

Around that you look after the customer side of getting jobs done: bookings, rescheduling, paperwork and simple quotes.

What you'll be doing

• Planning and booking jobs for both the Trentham Energy and Spa Refrigeration crews
• Lining up labour for each site day to day and getting ETAs from the team
• Ordering parts and making sure they are delivered to site on time
• Contacting customers when jobs need to move and locking in new times
• Booking in Spa Refrigeration service and repair calls
• Sending emails, paperwork and simple quotes to customers
• Helping our admin person with customer paperwork
• Assisting the sales side with pricing, scheduling and handover of new jobs

Who we're after

• You have worked in or around a trade business: scheduling, service desk, parts counter, wholesaler, or similar
• You are organised to a fault and comfortable juggling ten moving pieces at once
• You can pick up the phone and talk to a customer or a supplier without being asked
• You know your way around email, spreadsheets and job software, and you pick up new systems quickly
• Knowing solar, electrical, refrigeration or HVAC is a big plus, not a must
• A current driver's licence
