About us
Spa Refrigeration is the commercial refrigeration and HVAC arm of Trentham Energy. It is a well known local name, looking after coolrooms, cafes, pubs, farms and food producers right across the Hepburn and Macedon Ranges region.
The role
You will work beside our refrigeration mechanics on service calls, repairs and installs, from coolrooms and display cabinets to split and ducted systems. Because we do the electrical side too, you will see how the whole job fits together.
What you'll be doing
- Assisting our refrigeration mechanics on service, repair and install work
- Coolrooms, display cabinets, split and ducted systems and commercial HVAC
- Pipework, brazing, evacuation and charging as you learn
- Preventative maintenance visits
- Keeping the van and site tidy
- Learning fault finding and keeping job notes in our job app
Who we're after
- Currently in the 2nd, 3rd or 4th year of a Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration apprenticeship
- Happy to transfer your apprenticeship to us
- An ARCtick trainee licence, or willing to get one
- A current driver's licence
- White Card
- Reliable and keen to learn
