What we found
Trading: Google still lists Mondiaux Solar as open (172 reviews); its website https://mondiaux.solar/ still loads; ABN 99154704524 (Mondiaux Pty Ltd) is still active.
Open for business: Google, its own website or recent reviews show it trading. A cancelled old name or ABN beside a business that plainly trades on is a restructure, not a closure.
What customers said
The 49 most recent of its 66 SolarQuotes reviews
The 5 star reviews say
Five-star reviews praise the pre-sale process: quick, competitive quotes, free site visits, no-pressure salespeople (Brian, Archie, Nathan named) who explained options clearly, and then the installers being punctual, tidy and polite, with grid connection and app setup handled well. Most are from 2021 to 2024 and written just after installation.
The 1 star reviews say
The 1-star reviews describe deposits paid (typically around 10 percent) with installation delayed for months or cancelled, unanswered calls and emails, repeated missed or cancelled install dates, and refunds not paid even after formal demands, complaints and legal action (ACAT claim, debt recovery) were started.
