What we found
Trading: Google still lists Modern Earth Energy as open; its website http://modernearthenergy.com.au/ still loads.
Open for business: Google, its own website or recent reviews show it trading. A cancelled old name or ABN beside a business that plainly trades on is a restructure, not a closure.
What customers said
2 SolarQuotes reviews
The 5 star reviews say
The 5-star review praises the sales and quoting process as informative and helpful, and says installation was quick and well organised, with the team punctual in answering enquiries. This reflects the sale and install stage.
The 1 star reviews say
The 1-star review says the company signed the customer up on a payment plan, used a dodgy sub-contractor for the install, and that no one is interested in helping with problems since. It is a post-install complaint about support.
