What we found
Trading: Google still lists Jims Energy as open; its website http://jimsenergy.com.au/ still loads; it had a SolarQuotes review on 27 July 2026.
Open for business: Google, its own website or recent reviews show it trading. A cancelled old name or ABN beside a business that plainly trades on is a restructure, not a closure.

30 SolarQuotes reviews
The 5 star reviews say
Five-star reviews praise the sales staff for being honest, patient and helpful, the installers for being punctual, tidy and neat, and the help with rebates and grid connection, mostly written soon after the install.
The 1 star reviews say
The 1-star reviews say a subcontractor was used, the panels promised were swapped for older stock, the system was installed without the promised panels and a power bill saw no reduction, and a surprise bill of about $410 came just before installation after promises of no bill shock; one reviewer says the company changed the system design and added a second inverter without telling them until installation day, and another says support calls were ignored after the install.
