What we found
Trading: Google still lists Island Energy QLD as open (53 reviews); its website http://www.islandenergy.com.au/ still loads; it had a SolarQuotes review on 26 October 2026.
Open for business: Google, its own website or recent reviews show it trading. A cancelled old name or ABN beside a business that plainly trades on is a restructure, not a closure.
What customers said
10 SolarQuotes reviews
The 5 star reviews say
Reviewers praise the sales process (prompt quotes, no hard sell, honest advice on options, revised quotes without fuss), the installers (punctual, polite, tidy, clean up after themselves, finished quickly) and post-install contact (prompt replies to questions, app setup and system walkthroughs). Praise covers the sale, the install and the after-install period.
