What we found
Trading: Google still lists Innovate Energy as open (561 reviews); its website https://innovateenergy.com.au/ still loads; it had a SolarQuotes review on 18 October 2026.
Open for business: Google, its own website or recent reviews show it trading. A cancelled old name or ABN beside a business that plainly trades on is a restructure, not a closure.
What customers said
The 50 most recent of its 155 SolarQuotes reviews
The 5 star reviews say
Reviewers praise the sales staff for being knowledgeable, honest, unpushy and responsive with quotes, and the installers for arriving on time, working efficiently, leaving the site tidy and explaining how the system works. Several also mention help with grid connection and paperwork after the install.
The 1 star reviews say
The single 1-star review complains that the company became irritable when the reviewer asked due-diligence questions, and that quotes lacked precise product descriptions and the company did not supply product datasheets or specs for two products, causing confusion.
