What we found
Trading: Google still lists HP Energy Pty Ltd as open (445 reviews); its website https://www.hpenergy.com.au/ still loads; it had a SolarQuotes review on 2 November 2026.
Open for business: Google, its own website or recent reviews show it trading. A cancelled old name or ABN beside a business that plainly trades on is a restructure, not a closure.

The 5 star reviews say
Reviewers praise the sales stage, citing a well-informed representative, thorough quoting and a salesman who delivered on his promises. Some also mention good communication during installation and after-sales service, though several five-star reviews are very brief and say little beyond general satisfaction.
The 1 star reviews say
The 1-star reviews complain about the installation, including holes left in timber walls, two inverters that were misaligned, damaged conduit and silicone smeared on walls, installers arriving without required COVID-era documentation, and damage to a garden. The other 1-star review says a drilled hole damaged the property and the company did not fix it or pay for repairs despite several calls.
