What we found
Trading: Google still lists HOTT Electrics as open (1091 reviews); its website http://hottelectrics.com.au/ still loads; it had a SolarQuotes review on 28 September 2026.
Open for business: Google, its own website or recent reviews show it trading. A cancelled old name or ABN beside a business that plainly trades on is a restructure, not a closure.
What customers said
32 SolarQuotes reviews
The 5 star reviews say
Reviewers praise the sales and quoting stage for honest pricing, clear explanations, and on-site inspections by the sales staff, and the install stage for punctual, polite, tidy crews who finished on time and handled tricky roofs and switchboard upgrades. Several also note responsive after-install follow-up and help with grid connection paperwork.
