What we found
Trading: its website https://hotwater.com.au/ still loads; it had a SolarQuotes review on 20 August 2026.
Open for business: Google, its own website or recent reviews show it trading. A cancelled old name or ABN beside a business that plainly trades on is a restructure, not a closure.

The 5 star reviews say
Both 5-star reviews praise the sale and install stage: responsive answers to questions, discussion of issues for a tight install spot, punctual and tidy work on a heat pump and induction cooktop, and a quiet, efficient unit with a good app and easy panel.
