What we found
Trading: Google still lists HIB Electrical, Air & Solar as open (526 reviews); its website https://hibelectrical.com.au/ still loads; it had a SolarQuotes review on 16 October 2026.
Open for business: Google, its own website or recent reviews show it trading. A cancelled old name or ABN beside a business that plainly trades on is a restructure, not a closure.

The 5 star reviews say
The 5-star reviews praise the sales and quoting process as prompt, clear and matching what was discussed, plus punctual, tidy and professional installers who explained how to use the inverter app. Most of this praise is from just after the sale or install, with some noting the system was still waiting on grid connection or battery stock.
