What we found
Trading: Google still lists Green Solar Energy as open (60 reviews); its website http://greensolarenergy.com.au/ still loads; it had a SolarQuotes review on 3 September 2026. Watch: Recent SolarQuotes reviews have turned bad: 1 of 2 reviews in the last 6 months are 1 star.
Open for business: Google, its own website or recent reviews show it trading. A cancelled old name or ABN beside a business that plainly trades on is a restructure, not a closure.
What customers said
The 50 most recent of its 335 SolarQuotes reviews
The 5 star reviews say
Five-star reviews praise the sales and quoting staff, especially Ann, for knowledgeable, patient and honest advice, competitive pricing, and installation crews who were punctual, tidy and professional, with grid connection handled well. Most were written just after the sale or install.
The 1 star reviews say
The single one-star review says the sales end and install were fine, but after installation a panel stopped producing and the reviewer chased the company for over four months without follow-up, getting excuses and no contact, and has taken it to Fair Trading.
