What we found
Trading: Google still lists Gimpel Electrics as open (276 reviews); its website https://gimpelelectrics.com.au/?utm_source=google&utm_medium=organic&utm_campaign=gbp still loads; it had a SolarQuotes review on 25 September 2026.
Open for business: Google, its own website or recent reviews show it trading. A cancelled old name or ABN beside a business that plainly trades on is a restructure, not a closure.

The 5 star reviews say
The one 5-star review praises a fast install of a 22kW PV system and 48kWh battery over a couple of days, with two callbacks to fix minor issues, and reports the system working well two weeks after install, which places it at the just-after-install stage. No sale-stage comments are given.
