What we found
Trading: its website https://formulasun.com.au/ still loads.
Open for business: Google, its own website or recent reviews show it trading. A cancelled old name or ABN beside a business that plainly trades on is a restructure, not a closure.
What customers said
The 49 most recent of its 166 SolarQuotes reviews
The 5 star reviews say
Reviewers praise quick, friendly quoting with no hard sell, fair pricing, and tidy, punctual installers who explained the system and cleaned up. Most of this praise is from the sale and install stage, with some noting good after-sales follow up.
The 1 star reviews say
The single 1-star review says Formula Sun did not complete the paperwork for the grid connection and Synergy's DEBS buyback application, so the system was not registered, despite repeated assurances and unreturned calls.
