What we found
Trading: Google still lists Essential Solar as open (155 reviews); its website https://www.essentialsolar.com.au/ still loads; it had a SolarQuotes review on 29 October 2026.
Open for business: Google, its own website or recent reviews show it trading. A cancelled old name or ABN beside a business that plainly trades on is a restructure, not a closure.
