What we found
Trading: Google still lists Erg Energy as open (108 reviews); its website https://www.ergenergy.com.au/ still loads; it had a SolarQuotes review on 26 October 2026.
Open for business: Google, its own website or recent reviews show it trading. A cancelled old name or ABN beside a business that plainly trades on is a restructure, not a closure.

The 5 star reviews say
Reviewers praise the quoting stage for clear, honest advice, tailored quotes and no hard sales pitch, often with the same person quoting and installing. They also praise the install itself as punctual, polite, tidy and well coordinated, with grid connection and paperwork handled quickly.
