What we found
Trading: http://ekoenergy.co/ does not answer (TimeoutError), but the business is plainly still trading (Google still lists eko energy as open (29 reviews)), so we read that as the website blocking our check, not a closure.
Open for business: Google, its own website or recent reviews show it trading. A cancelled old name or ABN beside a business that plainly trades on is a restructure, not a closure.
