What we found
Trading: Google still lists EFS Solar as open (462 reviews); its website https://www.efssolar.com.au/ still loads; it had a SolarQuotes review on 9 October 2026. Watch: Recent SolarQuotes reviews have turned bad: 2 of 3 reviews in the last 6 months are 1 star.
Open for business: Google, its own website or recent reviews show it trading. A cancelled old name or ABN beside a business that plainly trades on is a restructure, not a closure.
What customers said
45 SolarQuotes reviews
The 5 star reviews say
Praise centres on the sales staff being honest, patient and clear about quotes and equipment, and on installers being punctual, tidy and courteous on the day. Several also mention responsive after-sales help, such as fixing a roof leak and setting up wifi, though most reviews are written just after the install.
The 1 star reviews say
The 1-star reviews complain about a cancelled install that was delayed by a month, causing a lost feed-in tariff, damage to a roof with no responsibility taken, a no-show for a quote with no contact afterwards, and an install that was not finished properly, with the company allegedly claiming it was complete to chase payment.
