What we found
Trading: Google still lists Dream Solar as open (17 reviews); its website https://dreamsolar.com.au/ still loads.
Open for business: Google, its own website or recent reviews show it trading. A cancelled old name or ABN beside a business that plainly trades on is a restructure, not a closure.
What customers said
4 SolarQuotes reviews
The 5 star reviews say
Reviewers from 2019 and 2020 praise the salesperson's knowledge, patience and honest advice on products and warranties, plus competitive quotes, and at install they describe quality workmanship, standards being met and a tidy, courteous crew. These comments come from the sale and install stage.
The 1 star reviews say
The single 1-star review, from March 2026, describes a 6+ month delay on an install promised in 1 to 2 weeks, missed appointments and poor communication. It says the inverter was mounted outside without consent instead of in the garage, that blackout protection was missing, the inverter was faulty from the start, the smart meter was wrong, and a backup plug took months to arrive.
