Why we think this
Closed because Google lists Dollar Solar (Level 5/203-233 New South Head Rd, Edgecliff NSW 2027) as permanently closed; Solar Directory archived its listing on 14 August 2024 because its website stopped working. Closure dated 12 April 2020, from Last SolarQuotes review (last seen trading). Against that: ABN 32148195975 (SOLAR DOLLAR PTY. LTD.) is still active. Google and websites often lag a collapse, so the registers win.
The date comes from: Last SolarQuotes review (last seen trading).
The business has stopped trading: a register, Google or the industry's review sites say so.
What customers said
14 SolarQuotes reviews
The 5 star reviews say
Five-star reviews, written soon after the sale or install, praise the responsiveness, value for money, speed of installation (often within a couple of days), and a no-fuss sales process. Several say the installer kept them updated and that they paid nothing until the job was completed.
The 1 star reviews say
One-star reviews mostly complain about long delays and repeated promises that installation would happen 'next week', unanswered or unreturned calls, and an installation that never occurred after a quote was accepted. One later review says faulty panels were not replaced under the warranty over six months, and that Fair Trading was ignored.
