What we found
Trading: it had a SolarQuotes review on 23 July 2026. Watch: Recent SolarQuotes reviews have turned bad: 1 of 2 reviews in the last 6 months are 1 star.
Open for business: Google, its own website or recent reviews show it trading. A cancelled old name or ABN beside a business that plainly trades on is a restructure, not a closure.
What customers said
The 12 most recent of its 13 SolarQuotes reviews
The 5 star reviews say
The 5-star reviews praise the sales staff for explaining things clearly and not being pushy, the installers for being punctual, polite and tidy on site, and the office for follow-up calls and quick responses once the system was on.
The 1 star reviews say
The 1-star reviews complain that a system signed in July 2023 had panels on the roof from August but was still not switched on by December, with the reviewer getting little response unless they chased. A 2026 review alleges the company never helped clients, used cheap panels, and left the reviewer with higher power bills and expensive repayments, and says the ACCC has been notified.
