Why we think this
Under threat because Solar Directory archived its listing on 14 August 2024 because its website stopped working. Still trading signs: its website http://www.cleanenergyservices.com.au/ still loads; ABN 76122638135 (Clean Energy Pty Ltd) is still active; ABN 47624689014 (NEXO RECRUITMENT PTY LTD) is still active; ABN 65753005984 (WAKE, MICHAEL GORDON) is still active. Only its website has gone. Check Google, the phone number and the ABN before treating it as closed.
The date comes from: Last SolarQuotes review (last seen trading).
One sign of trouble (a cancelled name or ABN, a dead website, a run of one star reviews) but not enough to call it closed.
What customers said
5 SolarQuotes reviews
The 1 star reviews say
Both 1-star reviews allege the company was hard to deal with after the sale: one says the system does not perform as promised, a quote was inflated and the installation was done without consent or with a forged finance signature, and the other says the customer paid over four years but power bills remain high, with no way to reach the company. Neither review is about the sale or install stage alone, both describe problems that followed.
