What we found
Trading: Google still lists Chief Electricians as open (197 reviews); its website https://chiefelectricians.com.au/ still loads; it had a SolarQuotes review on 26 October 2026; ABN 61808762289 (BAU, ADAM) is still active; ABN 18632261557 (CHIEF ELECTRICIANS PTY LTD) is still active.
Open for business: Google, its own website or recent reviews show it trading. A cancelled old name or ABN beside a business that plainly trades on is a restructure, not a closure.

The 5 star reviews say
Reviewers praise the quoting and sales stage (prompt, clear, competitive quotes, patient answers to questions, no pushy upselling), the installation (punctual, tidy, polite crews who cleaned up) and the after-sale follow-up (grid connection paperwork, app setup, check-in calls).
