Why we think this
Closed because SolarQuotes has been told it went out of business; Google lists Bare Energy (15 Narabang Way, Belrose NSW 2085) as permanently closed. Closure dated 20 July 2026, from Last SolarQuotes review (last seen trading). Against that: its website https://bareenergy.com.au/?utm_source=GMB&utm_medium=organic still loads; it had a SolarQuotes review on 20 July 2026; ABN 14660377908 (BARE ENERGY PTY LIMITED) is still active. Google and websites often lag a collapse, so the registers win.
The date comes from: Last SolarQuotes review (last seen trading).
The business has stopped trading: a register, Google or the industry's review sites say so.
What customers said
43 SolarQuotes reviews
The 5 star reviews say
Reviewers praise the sales and quoting stage (honest, no pressure, tailored quotes, clear explanations) and the install stage (punctual, polite, tidy crews who kept them informed), with some noting follow-up help after the install such as app setup and grid connection.
The 1 star reviews say
One reviewer says the installer did not explain or show them how to use the system as promised, the system delivered little benefit and the bill stayed high, and after the install the company could not be reached by phone and had gone out of business. The other says that after paying, the installer cancelled on installation day, saying the house was too tall to work on safely, after the sales rep had earlier said a site visit was not needed.
