What we found
Trading: Google still lists Autra Batteries Australia as open (150 reviews); its website https://autrabatteries.com/ still loads; it had a SolarQuotes review on 13 August 2026.
Open for business: Google, its own website or recent reviews show it trading. A cancelled old name or ABN beside a business that plainly trades on is a restructure, not a closure.
What customers said
The 50 most recent of its 68 SolarQuotes reviews
The 5 star reviews say
Reviewers praise the sales staff for competitive quotes, clear explanations and quick responses, and the installers for punctual, tidy work that left sites clean, with some saying the app was shown to them after install. Praise is mostly given at the sale and install stages, with a few noting good aftercare.
The 1 star reviews say
The single 1-star review says Autra cancelled the contract without cause weeks before the federal rebate ended, and the customer had no time to find an alternative because the company's legal advice was that pursuing it would cost too much.
