What we found
Trading: Google still lists Auswell Energy Pty Ltd as open (174 reviews); its website https://auswellenergy.com.au/ still loads; it had a SolarQuotes review on 20 October 2026; ABN 17614887517 (AUSWELL ENERGY PTY LTD) is still active.
Open for business: Google, its own website or recent reviews show it trading. A cancelled old name or ABN beside a business that plainly trades on is a restructure, not a closure.
What customers said
The 50 most recent of its 105 SolarQuotes reviews
The 5 star reviews say
Five-star reviews praise the sales and quoting process (helpful, patient staff who tailored multiple options and were responsive), then the install (punctual, tidy, efficient crews) and post-install follow-up, app setup and grid connection. Several praise customer service throughout.
The 1 star reviews say
The single 1-star review complains that after signing the proposal the customer heard nothing unless they chased repeatedly, and they were still unclear when their system would be installed.
