What we found
Trading: Google still lists Australian Solar Designs as open (26 reviews); its website https://www.australiansolardesigns.com.au/?utm_source=google&utm_medium=gmb&utm_campaign=gmb_organic still loads.
Open for business: Google, its own website or recent reviews show it trading. A cancelled old name or ABN beside a business that plainly trades on is a restructure, not a closure.
What customers said
The 50 most recent of its 168 SolarQuotes reviews
The 5 star reviews say
Five-star reviews praise the sales staff (Wes, Scott, Aj, Ajay) for being knowledgeable, honest and responsive during the quoting stage, and praise the installers for being quick, tidy and high quality on the day, with some noting follow-up checks and good after-sales service in the months after.
The 1 star reviews say
The single 1-star review complains about the sales process: dozens of emails and calls to clarify what was being quoted, no model numbers in the signed quote, a later invoice with different components and fewer panels than the original quote, and a refund request on a deposit paid.
