What we found
Trading: Google still lists ADS Solar as open (1342 reviews); its website https://www.adssolar.com.au/ still loads; it had a SolarQuotes review on 12 August 2026.
Open for business: Google, its own website or recent reviews show it trading. A cancelled old name or ABN beside a business that plainly trades on is a restructure, not a closure.
What customers said
The 50 most recent of its 60 SolarQuotes reviews
The 5 star reviews say
Praise centres on the sales and quoting process (clear, not pushy, competitive pricing, responsive staff), the installation team (polite, punctual, tidy, clean sites) and after-sale follow-up such as grid connection help, app setup and check-in calls. Several reviewers say installs went quickly.
The 1 star reviews say
Complaints are about a deposit taken with a promised refund never paid, poor panel placement and extra charges, a system with constant faults and no repair arrangement, an installer sent without knowledge of terracotta tiles, and broken roof tiles and ceiling damage left unrepaired after an install that was delayed.
