What we found
Trading: Google still lists 888 Solar Tek as open (27 reviews); its website https://www.888solartek.com.au/?utm_source=google&utm_medium=organic&utm_campaign=gmb still loads.
Open for business: Google, its own website or recent reviews show it trading. A cancelled old name or ABN beside a business that plainly trades on is a restructure, not a closure.
What customers said
28 SolarQuotes reviews
The 5 star reviews say
Reviewers praise the sales consultation (honest, not pushy, clear quotes that were stuck to), the tidy and punctual installers, and the post-install support such as grid connection help, check-in calls and quick fixes, with several saying the system performed as promised on their first bills.
The 1 star reviews say
Reviewers complain about underperforming systems that did not meet promised output, panels going offline or bursting, a sales order being forgotten, and unanswered emails and calls after the install, with one saying the owner dismissed low output because the system showed it was producing.
